Everything is always working out for me, no matter what… Sound familiar? Well, if you’ve been on TikTok over the last month or so, you’ve likely come across this sound a time or two.

But what exactly is Lucky Girl Syndrome and how do we get it? Is there really any truth to it? Well, let’s take a look, shall we?

So, the idea behind the “lucky girl syndrome” trend has pretty much everything to do with manifestation. Shocker, we know. But in all honestly, it’s pretty much an affirmation challenge, just given a new name and wrapped up in an aesthetic little bow. Ta-da!

But, does it actually work?

Our answer: of course it does lol. As you may know, we are big fans of the Law of Assumption here and a challenge like this is pretty much exactly that.

It’s taking a small statement, i.e. I’m so lucky or everything is always working out for me and drilling it into your subconscious. So much so that it becomes an assumption. And that is really going to be the key here, folks. Your brain pays attention to repetition, so anything you’re constantly telling it, it’s more likely to deem important.

If you continue to reiterate a statement like I always get everything I want, your brain will eventually be programmed to show you proof of that. And with proof, comes belief. The more proof of something you see, the more you believe it to be true (just as with anything else). Make sense?

but, i don’t really feel any luckier?!

Okay, so you’ve used the sound. Repeated the affirmation a couple times. Even “claimed” it in the comments… but, still nothing. What now?

Simple. Keep repeating it.

For some of us, we have to put in a bit more effort to believe a statement like “I’m just the luckiest girl on the planet.” And that’s okay. Do you know why? Because we can just continue to affirm it until we start to believe it’s true.

Affirm it in the shower. I’m so lucky.

Affirm it while you’re cleaning. Everything is always working out for me.

Affirm it while you exercise. I always get what I want.

Just keep saying it. Literally, as much as you can. This is how you impress your subconscious mind and eventually elicit that coveted “lucky girl” lifestyle of your dreams.

We love a good affirmation challenge. Set a timer for 10 minutes a day (as many times a day as you’d like) and straight up AFFIRM.

  • I am so lucky.
  • I always get everything I want.
  • Everything is always working out for me.
  • I’m the luckiest person alive.

Just affirm non-stop until your timer is up. And keep in mind that this is only 10 minutes of concentrated affirming. You would have probably spent that same 10 minutes thinking about something random or just mindlessly scrolling through TikTok (we’re also guilty of this, so don’t feel bad).

You might as well use that time to your advantage. Especially if it means you get to walk away with a little bit more luck in your pocket, right?
