what is the 369 method and how to use it

It’s no secret that there’s no shortage of methods and techniques out there when it comes to manifestation. We know this because we’ve tried them all. The 555 method, the 369 method, the ABC-123 method… okay, that last one was a joke.

But in all seriousness, while it’s true that there’s no ‘secret sauce’ for manifesting effectively, what we do know is that the basis of many of these techniques usually falls under the umbrella of two areas: affirmation repetition and feelings of gratitude.

And isn’t that what manifestation really boils down to?

So no, methods aren’t technically “necessary,” but for our peeps that do like the sense of direction and structure that these techniques provide, we got your back.

Starting with the tried and true: 369-method.

The origin of the 369 method is traced back to inventor and engineer – Nikola Tesla – and his theory that the numbers 3, 6, and 9 represent energy, frequency, and vibration. Much of his research was based on ancient Indian scriptures.

“If you knew the magnificence of the 3-6-9, then you would have a key to the Universe.

He was also a firm believer in repetition and its impact on our brain cells – i.e. its power to influence our conscious and subconscious minds. Sound familiar?

So in a nutshell, (and minus a bunch of math calculations that further backed his theory), his philosophy concluded that:

Repetition + the power of these high-frequency numbers = manifestation of the intended desire

Now of course, as a numbers-obsessed engineer, his hypothesis goes into far more detail than that, but this is the general conclusion to take away from his findings.

So, now that we know the what, let’s get into the how.

how to use the 369 method

Get ready for a little scripting.

So for the 369 method, all you need is a notebook and a pen. Now while you don’t need a devoted journal for this method, if you feel motivated to have materials dedicated specifically to your manifestation work, we encourage it!

Anything that helps put you in the mindset of your affirmations becoming your reality, we’re all for it.

As for the steps, they’re very simple. Write your manifestation affirmation out:

  • 3x in the morning.
  • 6x in the afternoon.
  • 9x in the evening.

Now, as for your actual affirmation sentence, you’ll want to structure it as follows:

  1. Your emotional state regarding your manifestation
  2. Your actual desire/manifestation
  3. Gratitude

Example: “I am so happy/grateful (emotional state) that I am now consistently receiving $10,000 a month in income (desire), thank you Universe/God/Your Preference (gratitude).

Another example: “I am so happy/grateful (emotional stateto be in a secure and loving relationship with ________ (desire), thank you Universe/God/Your Preference (gratitude).”

That’s it!

Now, if you want to remain more true to the ancient scriptures that Tesla studied, the specific timing of your affirmations would be:

  • 3x, 96 minutes before sunrise
  • 6x, 240 minutes after sunrise
  • 9x, 72 minutes before sunset

But don’t feel anxious about having to stick to anything exact – remember that with persistence and belief, you’re already well on your way.

mindset when using methods

Now as with any method, we always want to keep in mind that the reason we’re even doing this to begin with is to rewire our minds. And since we’re typically looking to manifest the opposite of what our reality currently reflects, it is absolutely normal to experience some reflexive resistance.

Because yes, if you’re affirming that you’re financially abundant with $12.74 in your bank account, it is completely natural for your mind to immediately request that you be so forreal right now.

But that’s okay! Because your only job is to persist in your affirmations and express gratitude for them.

Your mind will eventually get with the program.

If it helps, take a few moments to do some breathwork before you being to write out your affirmations.

Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds – breathe out for 4 seconds, hold for another 4.

Repeat this a few times before affirming or whenever you feel any anxiety, especially as it pertains to your manifestation.

And remember: you have all the power.

So, if you’ve practiced this method for a few days and your manifestation hasn’t fallen from the sky yet, keep affirming until you feel that sense of knowing that your desire is yours.

Because it is.
